In 2015,Chinese imports fell by 13.2%,while the growth rate of imports online sales was 38.5% against 2014,and will definitely remain stable growth in future.Since July 2014,the General Administration of Customs has frequently issued favorable policies to imports online sales,the State Council also issued guidance documents in June 2015 to support the development.A large number of import companies and online sales platform are focused on cross-border sales.This thesis takes Seven Trading Company as the research object,study on Chinese cross-border online sales development environments and current situations as the theoretical basis,PEST and SWOT analysis methods were both used in this research.In-depth studies of it’s conditions,the advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and threats to carry out specific strategies and safeguard measures.Through the analysis of cost structure of imported commodities,to select the optimal import modes according to the different costs.So as to provide theoreticals and practical guidances for the promotion of this kind of company as well as to have new ideas.In addition to strengthen these companies’ competitiveness.The results show that China’s cross-border import retail enterprises should understand the industry conditions,market trends and innovative business models.Since fixed costs and variable costs affect the choice of the optimal cross-border import modes,enterprises should determine the best mode based on the cost of the product,as well as other relative factors.The research conclusions of this paper provide theoretical and practical guidance for Chinese cross-border import companies to reduce import costs and enhance the competitiveness.
