Since 1980 s,financial market had been transformed by new technology,especially by internet financial firms and Non-bank Corporation.These companies nibble traditional bank interest.It is a huge challenge for banks.With the development of interest rate liberation,banks have to react to this new influence.So,Banks desperately need to find a rich seam of profit.Learning from the west,we have to focus on the intermediate business depending on original sales network advantage.Therefore,Strive to develop intermediate business to offset loss of deposits and loans business.This paper will refer to various methods such as Positive analysis and Case Study.This paper tries to understand the issue of intermediate business from both theory and status quo.Thanks to the complete and detailed market research,this paper gets a deep understanding about this issue.China Merchants Bank always put attention on the non-interest business development.This paper also introduce detailed about their business strategy,advantage and weakness,including product research,products pricing and marketing.Finally,this paper will mention the operation system of financial risk management.In the past research,influence factors can be divided into two groups,macroscopic factors and microcosmic factors.This paper took macroscopic factors like GDP,capital ratio and interest spreads of deposit and loan,as well as other microscopic factors like operating expense,liquidity ratio,equity and the ratio of deposit to equity.Finally,based on those researches,this paper will put forward some advice for its recurring realistic difficult problem.
