In October 2013,President Xi Jinping visited Indonesia and made a statement in the Indonesian congress that China and ASEAN countries should develop a better relationship and build the 21st century Maritime Silk Road together.In March 2014,Premier Li Keqiang stressed the importance of the "the Silk Road Economic Belt-and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road" initative.(essay referred as "the Belt and Road")At present,production capacity cooperation has become an inevitable way to strengthen China and other countries relationships.Indonesia is one of the founding members of ASEAN whose economic development potential and the political influence in the ASEAN region are very large.In this context,the study of China and Indonesia's production capacity cooperation will have great influence on both countries economic development and even the the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road Road.At present,the cooperation between China and Indonesia has already started,but there still have much upside potential for the cooperation.Therefore,I hope to provide some advice to rise the cooperation potential between Indonesia and China.I use the qualitative and quantitative methods to analyses the cooperative foundation and cooperation upside potential between Indonesia and China.The quantitative analysis use the international competitiveness of the industry as a perspective,which include the industry import and export advantages,the international market competitiveness and other factors of two counties.Finally,based on the result China should continue to promote the production capacity cooperation with Indonesia.
