The Research Of Enhancing The Influence Of Western University Think Tank

This study focus on the western university think tank.Through the establishment of university think tank influence evaluation system,this study try to explore the situation of the western university think tank influence,and put forward the strategies to enhance the influence.By using the method of literature analysis,this study clarifies the concept and connotation of the think tank,the influence of the think tank,the University think tank and its influence.Based on the comparison of the existing evaluation indexes,combined with the actual situation of the university think tank,this study sets up a set of objective and realistic evaluation system of the western university think tank the influence.This study sums up the characteristics,weaknesses and reasons of western universities think tank influence through comprehensively and quantitatively reviews based on four aspects:the growth and marketing ability,policy influence,academic influence and social influence.Through literature analysis and comparative analysis,this study sums up the independence,continuity,reality,informatization and publicity as the basic characteristics of the famous university think tank.Furthermore,The influence of well-known universities think tank influence which in China and other foreign countries also enlighten this study from the internal management mechanism and external operation mechanism combined with the influence of evaluation system.Finally,based on the situation of Western University think tank influence,this study proposes four strategies as follow about enhancing the influence of University think tank based on knowledge capital and regional network capital.First,carrying out the strategy which rely mainly on subject oriented while subsidiary on problem oriented.Second,constructing a training mechanism of innovative think tank talents rely on its own intellectual capital.Third,building the right to speak of University think tank rely on regional network capital.Fourth,building a "social development promoting-mechanism" as the research model.These strategies above play an important role to improve the function of consultation in decision-making of the western university think tank.
