In recent years,smart phone industry’s competition intensified,especially the competition between Apple and Samsung.From the U.S.market to the Chinese market,they are innovative examples for other smart phone manufacturers.With the comparative advantage of natural resources and labor,China’s local smart phone manufacturers quickly cut into the low-end segments of the global smart phone value chain dominated by Apple and Samsung.Although China’s local smart phone manufacturers has achieved product upgrades,the upgrades for process and function were still not enough.How they broke out from Apple and Samsung’s global smart phone value chain was a problem to be solved.The knowledge spillovers from Apple and Samsung’s duopoly in China has become an opportunity for the development of China’s local smart phone manufacturers.Therefore,through the analysis of knowledge spillovers from Apple and Samsung’s duopoly in China,It is of great practical significance to study the process of knowledge absorption and innovation strategy of HUAWEI smart phone,and to put forward the mechanism of knowledge absorption and innovation strategy of Chinese local smart phone enterprises.Firstly,this paper summarizes the knowledge absorption and innovation strategy,including three aspects:knowledge spillovers of Multinational Corporation,knowledge absorption and innovation strategy of Chinese local smart phone enterprises.Second,analysis three generation product launch and knowledge spillovers of Apple and Saimsung smart phones’ and focus on the knowledge absorption and innovation of HUAWEI smart phones’.Finally,based on the knowledge spillover process of Apple and Samsung smart phone,the knowledge absorption and innovation evolution of HUAWEI smart phone,this paper puts forward the knowledge absorption mechanism and innovation strategy of Chinese local smart phone enterprises under the duopoly competition. |
