For the past few years, our country is facing many issues, such as growing energy constraints, low using efficiency, poor economic and social value benefit and serious environmental pollution and so on which leading to a complicated energy development situation. Improving energy efficiency could be a vital way to solve a series of energy problem including reducing energy consumption effectively,curbing environmental degradation, sothat its measurement and impact mechanism become the attention of the governments at all levels and relevant scholars. Industrial agglomeration is a crucial characteristic of urbanization and industrialization development and became an important factor to affect the level of energy production with the development of industrial economy.But the industrial concentration has not been taken seriously in the study of energy efficiency.Only consider industrial concentration into the study of energy efficiency, we can better find ways to improve the root of the total factor energy efficiency, complete the dual task of socio-economic development, energy conservation and environmental protection.First of all, on the basis of carding the research status at home and abroad, this paper analyzed and expounded the basic theory and measure of energy efficiency and industrial concentration; And then the paper makes an analysis of mathematical statistics of economic development, industrial structure and employment of Beijing-tianjin-hebei region and dives deep into the reasons of the variable changes year by year. On this foundation , taking advantage of total factor energy efficiency model, measure the energy efficiency of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei quantitative. Meanwhile, structure the EG index model based on no spatial and population deviation and get the industrial agglomeration index of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei during 1996 -2014. By analysing the differences of industrial spatial agglomeration index, get the differences of industrial development in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Among of them, the third industry in Beijing has a certain scale of industrial agglomeration. And the second industry has a certain scale of industrial agglomeration in Tianjin. In addition, the second and third industrial agglomeration index is insufficient in Hebei province. Then, by regression analysis estimates the correlation between industrial agglomeration degree and the total factor energy efficiency. And the result shows that there is a significant positive correlation between them. In order to verify the relationship, ADF test, cointegration test and Grainger test are used. The analysis of the sensitivity of energy efficiency and industrial agglomeration in the three areas the degree of industrial agglomeration has impact on the energy efficiency from high to low. Finally, combined with the research results of this paper,some suggestions are put forward for the industrial development in Hebei province. |
