Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, road freight platform has gained rapid development in China. It plays an active role in improving the situation of road freight market, which has been described as "small,segmented,disordered,inferior service" for many years. Obviously,road freight platform provides high quality service for freight service demanders by integrating many small freight service providers and establishing standardized service criteria, while the key problem of providing high quality service is order allocation problem involved. Under this background,this paper studies how road freight platform allocates orders effectively to attract freight service demanders.Firstly, this paper illustrates the current situation of road freight platform, and then points out that stickiness plays a vital role in the development of road freight platform by analyzing the structure characteristics of road freight platform. Further, an order allocation mechanism with stickiness consideration is put forward, mainly including order allocation rule and order payment rule. At the same time, as allocation problem is based on biding problem, this paper also models biding decision problem of linear companies. Finally, a case study is constructed to compare order allocation solutions both with and without stickiness consideration. This paper aims to provide references for relevant companies.
