Environmental protection is directly related to the sustainable development of China's national economy and people's livelihood and significant social problem.Heavy pollution industry has become the key area of environmental protection because of its "high emission and high pollution" industrial structure,it is very important to carry out environmental performance evaluation for heavy polluting enterprises.Effective evaluation can provide data for enterprises to formulate environmental strategies and clean production programs,and also can provide decision-making basis for national environmental protection work,arouse the consciousness and motive of environmental protection from inside of enterprise.It is in this context that the research on environmental performance of heavy polluting enterprises has certain theoretical and practical significance.From the point of view of environmental performance evaluation,this paper applies DEA theory to evaluate the environmental performance of enterprises in heavy polluting industries.The main content of this paper is divided into five parts.First of all,this paper analyzes the concept and theory of environmental performance evaluation.Then,on the basis of theoretical analysis,the status of environmental performance evaluation of heavy polluting industries was studied,and the feasibility of introducing DEA method was analyzed according to the characteristics of the industry.In this paper based on the analysis of the present situation,the research focus on the environmental assessment of heavy polluting enterprises,constructed the BCC model performance evaluation model of the environment,and the model was tested through examples,analyze the existing problems.In this paper,the DEA method is used to evaluate the environmental performance of heavy polluting enterprises,the principal component analysis method was improved,original data is retained,it can be used in environmental performance evaluation better.The core problem of dealing with pollutants is the use of pollutants as inputs of the reverse thinking method,pollutant indicators into the BCC model.At the same time,the concept of slack variable is introduced to further perfect the BCC model,and the direction of performance improvement is given.Finally,through the example test,the model has certain practical and reference value.
