Y Enterprise Logistics Capability Research

Because of the particularity of the fast moving consumer goods,its logistics system is complex and has short cycle,frequent order and fast changes,which require faster logistics response speed,better service and other kinds of logistics capabilities.Therefore,the study of the logistics capability of fast moving consumer goods company is of great significance.Y enterprise is a typical fast moving consumer goods enterprise facing difficulty in the logistics capability.Besides,it does not have an evaluation index system and it needs measures to promote its logistics capability.The main purpose of this paper is to analyze and promote the logistics capability of Y enterprise by evaluation.The main content of this paper is as follows:Firstly,this paper had a classified study and summary of the related researches on logistics capability and analyzed the logistics capability of the fast moving consumer goods industry systematically.Secondly,this paper had an analysis of Y enterprise' logistics capability based on a comprehensive investigation of Y enterprise.By investigating the production base,the store and the distribution station,as well as interviewing the related managers and stuff of different departments,this paper had a fully understanding of its logistics capability.Then this paper this paper analyzed its logistics capability condition.In addition,this paper had a preliminary analysis of its logistics environment development using SWOT Analysis.Thirdly,this paper evaluated the logistics capability of Y enterprise.Based on the document study and the investigation,this paper built the preliminary evaluation index system combining qualitative and quantitative indicators.By using the method of Delphi to screen the indexes,the evaluation index system finally formed.Then this paper build the logistics capability evaluation model using the fuzzy synthesis evaluation method.Then the Fuzzy Synthesis Evaluation Model was used to evaluate the logistics capability of Y enterprise.Finally,this paper analyzed the problems existing in Y enterprise based on the result of the investigation,the analysis and the evaluation.By learning the promotion strategies of other five international leading companies,this paper put forward the corresponding improvement measures to promote the logistics capability of Y enterprise especially.the relatively weak ones from the points of supply logistics capability,production logistics capability,distribution logistics capability,reverse logistics capability and coordinate operation capability.The research conclusion of this paper is that the logistics capability of Y enterprise is better than general,but its distribution logistics capability and production logistics capability are relatively weak.Facing opportunities and challenges,Y enterprise needs to take effective measures to improve the logistics capability.The main innovation is that this paper had built the logistics capability evaluation index system and evaluation model with stronger operability that suitable for Y enterprise based on the features of fast moving consumer goods and the actual logistics capability of Y enterprise.
