The Research On Industrial Distribution In Hainan Province

Hainan Province which is adjacent to the West of Beibu Gulf Strait is located in the southern of China,to the north of Guangdong Province with a channel between them and next to the Southeast Asia in the South China Sea.As well as located in the Pan-Pearl River Delta economic circle,it is China's largest provincial special economic zone.With the promotion of the "China-ASEAN Free Trade Area",these regions' cooperation has been developed.What's more,the Asia Forum in Bo'ao helps to expand the influence of Hainan Province.It is a big and new opportunity for Hainan Province to start its own development.In 2010,the State Council formally promulgated the document “Series of opinions on the promotion of the construction and development of Hainan international tourism island ",which means that the development of Hainan Province has climbed to a new level.Hainan Province,the only one of the provincial special economic zones,has several unique geographical advantages.Although the tertiary industry serves as a leading industry,the overall economic development still shows a big gap when compared to other inland provinces,which is related to the differences among regional distribution of Hainan Province.Under the background of China's New Normal,whether Hainan Province can seize the development opportunity and plan its industrial distribution reasonably is of great significance to promote the economic development of the whole province and Hainan's industrial structure.This paper will research on the industrial distribution of Hainan Province on the two sides of theory and demonstration,and put forward some policy opinions on the planning of future industrial distribution.First of all,this article briefly introduces the research background and significance,and later described the analysis method.Secondly,it summarizes the concepts,theories and research literatures related to the research contents,including industrial distribution,regional division of labor theory,industrial location theory and the mode of industrial distribution.At the same time,it analyzes the domestic and foreign models of industrial distribution factors,providingreference to the empirical research next.Thirdly,it introduces the general development of industries in Hainan Province,summarizes several stages of industrial distribution,and analyzes the characteristics and trends of current distribution through the measurement of GDP,industrial density and location entropy.Fourthly,based on the relevant theories,summarize the factors influencing the industrial distribution and analyze the influencing factors.Use the principal component analysis to analyze the influencing factors.After removing the linear effect,four kinds of principal component factors are extracted,and we put some economic meanings to these four principal component factors.Finally,based on the characteristics of the industrial distribution strategy of Hainan Province,this paper analyzes and summarizes the existing problems and puts forward policy opinions on the plans of future industrial distribution,basing on the extracted principal component influencing factors.
