Abstract/Summary:
Continuing along with our country industrial structure adjustment and the rapid development of urbanization,a large number of the new generation migrant workers go to the city looking for work and life,becoming the main force of economic development in China.Most of them leave the rural areas prematurely,are not good at farm work.compared with the first generation of migrant workers,they are eager to blend in the will of the city is more intense,Their career development demands more intense also.But at this stage,the Present situation of career choice is not optimistic for the new generation of migrant workers : one is due to the limitation of their own human capital stock,there are still a lot of new generation migrant workers were forced to choose low skills of cheap labor in the second and the third industry industry.Second is professional demand diversity,although a wider range of career choice is more flexible,but the stability of employment is not enough;Three is from the labor market of uncontrollable external force factor of institutional barriers.Therefore,to explore vocational and technical education in the new generation of migrant workers,the role of career choice,and it is very urgent to improve the ability of career choice.Based on the population migration theory,vocational orientation theory and the theory of human capital for the new generation of migrant workers the status,characteristics and influencing factors of career choice,and focus on analysis of vocational and technical education to the mechanism of the new generation peasant workers’ career choices,including the certificate of signal display mechanism,mechanism of post competency,production efficiency,as well as the social network expansion mechanism.Further,the use of Sun Yat-sen University social science research center to carry out the "China Labor-force Dynamics Survey"(CLDS)data,from the empirical analysis on vocational and technical education to the influence of the new generation peasant workers’ career choice.For migrant worker samples,accept vocational and technical education has a positive positive influence on theircareer choice.Samples for new generation of migrant workers,"" professional and technical personnel of this kind of skilled professional vocational and technical education influence effect is more apparent,as discussed in vocational and technical education status of the new generation peasant workers’ career choice,the specific effects respectively introduce vocational and technical education to interact with the other independent variables,the results showed that in different professions,vocational and technical education of different gender,age,level of education of new generation migrant workers have different effects,these differences decided the compared with ordinary education,vocational and technical education more career options for new generation of migrant workers have a positive effect.On the basis of above analysis,in view of the vocational and technical education how to work in the new generation migrant workers career choice,put forward the following Suggestions: response time request "made in China 2025",vigorously promote the reform of vocational education,play an leading role of government in vocational and technical education;Overcome their shortsighted,completes the staff vocational training,strengthen enterprise the important position in vocational and technical education;Ascension such labor-intensive enterprise quantity and quality of the people’s livelihood,encourage the development of small micro enterprises,market for vocational and technical education should play the role of guiding;Improve health care,pension,housing security system,such as sound coverage of new generation of migrant workers public service system.
