A Study On The Key Factors Of EPC Projects Contract Payment

Characteristics of general contracting project are the long contract period,amount of investment,materials and machinery leasing price fluctuation are larger,there were often exists pay less or payment time is not timely risk.But the way of payment and the time node have the key effect for contractor's project scheduling,funds allocation,pay off the debts,final accounts and project cost control.Therefore,this thesis on EPC total contract price payment problems as the research object,describes the analysis and application of factor analysis method to explore the key factors in helping general contracting enterprises to establish timely,accurate science,risk measures and relevant improvement mechanism,which is the goal of this study.On the above research objectives,through careful study of the existing literatures at home and abroad,and combined with the related experts,to determine the EPC project contract price to pay the 22 key factors,questionnaire design questionnaire and small range of test results shows that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity.Finally get 180 effective questionnaires,basic situation questionnaire,respondents for state-owned enterprises and private enterprises,engaged in the work of time for more than 6 years of the project managers and professional and technical personnel,questionnaire results are reliable.The contract price to pay survey results show that there are 66% enterprises more serious contract payment,"has been able to" or "often" in accordance with the contract to pay the price Only 33%,industry contract payment problems are more prominent.Descriptive statistics analysis showed that,the scores of all factors were above 2.5,showing the influence of various factors to the contract payment was more critical.Finally according to the statistical results of factor analysis,22 key factors of new combinations and attributed to "compensation","can apply for compensation factor","resistance factor","delay factor","contract","engineering quantity list factors six main influence factors.Finally,it can be clearly leads to main reason for payment of the contract price,and relevant risk prevention and countermeasures of key points is proposed according to the risk control measures and from the preparatory phase of the project contract management,executive stage and the claim are given the relevant proposal.At this stage of the EPC contractors to avoid the contract price payment risk,effective guarantee of reimbursement of funds has a strong reference.
