A Research On The Construction Of Livable City Under The View Of Urban Boundary Control

Today,China’s urban development has entered a high-speed development stage,mainly the expansion of the scale of the city,namely: the rapid expansion of population size and land scale of the disorderly expansion.The expansion of urban scale has brought positive and negative effects to the development of the city.On the one hand,urban expansion can promote urban economic development and enhance urban competitiveness.On the other hand,urban expansion has brought a series of "urban livability problems",mainly as follows: land tight traffic congestion,environmental pollution,ecological quality decline,These problems have contributed to the transformation of urban development,livable urban construction has become the first choice.Under the reasonable scale of the city,the construction of livable city can not only guarantee the sustained and rapid growth of the city economy,but also meet the high quality requirements of the urban residents in the urban environment.It is a major subject facing the urbanization in China in the 21 st century.On the basis of summarizing the background of the times,summarizing the current situation of research at home and abroad,combing the relationship between livable urban construction and urban border control,this paper focuses on the following:First,Evaluate city livability and urban scale from the objective level of China’s 26 provincial capital.In terms of livability,21 indicators were selected from four aspects: economy,society,environment and ecology.The objectivity of 26 provincial cities was evaluated objectively.According to the geographical location,26 provincial cities were divided into three categories,The central and western provinces of the city’s livable level of time and space differences;urban scale,mainly from the urban population size and urban land size of two aspects of analysis.The second is to establish the mathematical model analysis,put forward the research hypothesis,analyze the relationship between the city scale and the urban livability,and finally come to the economic,social,environmental,ecological and other intermediate variables,the city scale and urban livability U-type relationship will gradually appear;on the basis of Alonso model expansion,the urban livable level and urban scale of the quadratic function,to obtain the optimal level of livable city scale.Thirdly,through the empirical analysis of urban scale and urban livability,we can draw the concrete countermeasures to construct the livable city: to strengthen the control of the city boundary,to prevent the excessive expansion of the city scale;secondly,the city insists on the public transport-oriented urban development Mode(TOD,Transit-Oriented Development),clearly adhere to the TOD development model is to achieve the development of livable city key spatial path.
