Research On The Impact Of Chinese Import Sophistication On Export Sophistication

Under the impeus of the reform and opening up.China's foreign trade has been in the forefront of the world,and the trade structure has been significantly optimized.With the sustained and in-depth development of the analysis and study in the field of trade,the concept about the sophistication of technology products began to have a preliminary understanding,which is mainly used in a national technical sophistication measure,so as to grasp the corresponding technical content.This paper is based on product sophistication,selection of China from 1995 to 2015,21 years of relevant data and information,putting it into 10 categories of more than three hundred kinds of products according to Lall(2000).Then calculating the sophistication of Chinese export and import product,in order to master the basic situation in China in the last twenty years,at the same time,and a series of developing and developed countries are compared,the corresponding results can see.China's imports of sophistication and export technology sophistication,on the whole,are showing rising trend,the gap between our country and the developed countries began to decrease,also in the aspects of the growth rate compared with that of developing countries was faster.Further empirical analysis based on time series,and proves the effect of domestic and imported products and technologies in the sophistication change of export products produced by the technical sophistication.Through the analysis shows that technology import sophistication degree on the export of technical sophistication exists very obvious positive effect of promoting,indicating that the increase of imported products technology sophistication can be to enhance the technological content of export products.At the same time,such as the amount of capital per capita,foreign direct investment,market scale and R&D investment and maintain a positive correlation between the same.
