Since the eighties of the last century made the concept of sustainable development,it has been widespread concern in the community, sustainable development thinking has been widely spread, and a variety of theoretical and practical models for sustainable development gradually formed. However, the real world,a series of unsustainable economic behavior and economic development still exist along with the world economic growth.Resource depletion,Environmental pollution,Ecological degradation and other issues not only failed to ease, but there is getting worse,Even evolve into a global problem such as climate change, energy crisis, reduction of biodiversity, pestilence, and disparity even lead to conflict and war, which severely restricted the sustainable development of human society. From an economic point of profound reflection on Sustainable Development Thought generate decades of conflict theory and practice, the focus of economic theory Origin of strong and weak two kinds of sustainable development paradigm, fully draw on Ecological Economics from Herman Daly, from the support of human social and economic development of two capital-natural capital and man-made capital-relationships start with, the nature of analytical theory and practice of the consequences of strong and weak two kinds of sustainable development paradigm. The study found:First, the weak sustainable development paradigm derived from modern western mainstream economic theory of neoclassical economics, and the weak sustainable development paradigm in theory mainly reflect in the production function of mainstream economics among the most commonly used functions of CD.But one hand it ignores the contribution of natural capital on output. On the other hand it emphasis on alternative relationship between the factors of production too much.According to this logic,we can increase output,as long as the natural capital into an artificial capital, and promote economic growth.Reduction of natural capital can substitute manufactured capital. So as to maintain the total amount of capital held constant weak sustainable development paradigm.Second, strong sustainable development paradigm emphasizes the complementary relationship between natural capital and man-made capital.Only to maintain the natural capital stock is not reduced, will it be possible to achieve long-term sustainable development,man-made capital is not a substitute for natural capital, the two are complementary relationship.Ecological economics is strong support for sustainable development paradigm.Third, weak support for sustainable development paradigm in order to consume natural capital at the expense of economic growth is not sustainable in the long-term,sustainable development means within the human sense of time and space dimensions of sustainable long-term,so the strict sense can sustainable development can only be achieved by a strong sustainable development paradigm, weak sustainable paradigm inherently unsustainable. In support of views of this article, the paper selected two countries as a typical representative of the weak and the strong sustainable development paradigm of sustainable development paradigm, based on facts, use case analysis demonstrates the results of both the practice of sustainable development paradigm.China's future sustainable development put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from both the perspective of intergenerational equity effects of two sustainable development paradigm of intergenerational equity. The article analyzes the advantages of a strong sustainable development paradigm, and confirms the concept of a true idea of sustainable development.
