China and Nigeria established diplomatic relations on February 10,1971.2017 marked 46th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Nigeria.The Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa,with a population of 173 million,i.e.16.7%of the total population of Africa.At the same time,Nigeria is also a big country with rich mineral resources.It is the largest oil producing and exporting country in Africa.As of 2014,Nigeria's proved oil reserves are second largest in Africa and tenth in the world.The proved natural gas reserves rank first in Africa and eighth in the world.China is a major importer of energy,especially for crude oil resources.Therefore,China and Nigeria reached many cooperation agreements in the crude oil resources.And the two sides are increasing cooperation and investment bilaterally.This article mainly uses the literature reference method in analyzing and refers to other personnel's research reports,resources on the Internet,especially the related official Chinese government websites.In order to further discuss the oil trade problems of China and Nigeria,to make the analysis of this issue more definite,I summarize and organize the relevant data on the development of oil trade between China and Nigeria,classify and analyze these data.In addition,the qualitative analysis method is adopted.By comparing and analyzing the oil trade data between China and Nigeria,this paper provides reasonable suggestions for the future development of oil trade between China and Nigeria.The first chapter is the introduction,the second chapter analyzes the oil situation in Nigeria,focusing on oil reserve and the development of oil exploitation in Nigeria,petroleum resource exports and imports situation,Chinese oil reserves situation,exploitation and oil import and export in China.The third chapter is the analysis of status quot of the oil trade cooperation between China and Nigeria,the first part is about the form of bilateral trade cooperation development,the second part is the analysis of the form of investment in bilateral trade of petroleum resources.The fourth chapter discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the oil trade development between Nigeria and China,mainly focusing on the common advantages and disadvantages of oil trade between China and Nigeria.The fifth chapter provides suggestions to strengthen the cooperation between Nigeria and China based on the analysis of chapter four part one is about the necessity to maintain national peace and stability in Nigeria,part two is about the mutual cooperation between two governments.Based on the analysis of the current situation of oil trade between the two countries,the paper finds out the problems encountered in the current cooperative development,and the solution to expand the cooperation between the two sides in the oil trade.Through the analysis,we put forward proposals for the energy between China and Nigeria and the development of other relevant trade cooperation.
