Comparative Research On The Trade Development Between Laos-China And Laos-Thailand

Since the reform of Lao People’s Democratic Republic to open for worldwide,economy and trade in Laos gradual development,international trade and international relations continue to expand,especially since Laos joining ASEAN and the World Trade Organization(WTO),economy and international trade rapid growth,also China and Thailand are two major trading partners of Laos,as Laos and Thailand became on trade cooperation since 2003,also Laos and China became on trade cooperation since 2009.However,Laos and Thailand and China on trade development in the presents have many different situations and characteristics.Therefore,it is significance to compare and analyze on Laos’ s trade with china and Thailand.Firstly,this paper studies on Laos’ s international Trade development history,development status and problems,studies on current situation and characteristics of Laos’ s trade relations between Laos-China and Laos Thailand.Based on the theory of trade and economic,through normative analysis,comparative research on Laos’ s trade between China and Thailand,from trade structure,Trade scale,trade problem,Trade related variables such as cause and potential and then analyze the relationship between Laos-China’s trade and Laos-Thailand’s trade through trade policy,measures to promote Laos international Trade,according to analysis results and predicted on Laos international trade.Studies on development strategy of Laos-China and Laos-Thailand,including promoting Laos’ s trade between China and Thailand,strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Laos and Thailand and China,through capital recommend and technology to cultivate backbone of enterprises to run on Laos-China and Laos-Thailand trade,by resources and geographical advantages under ASEAN free trade area(FTA).The results present,as after the reform and opening up,Laos promoted and development economy by using new economic policy and economic system.The rapid Laos’ s international trade development by became member of ASEAN and world trade organization,lead Foreign trade volume gradually increased,Laos international trade and economic growth greatly increased and speed up as well.Laos has a long border with Thailand;Laos-Thailand has a long history,through a similar culture and language,these advantages lead Thailand became the largest trading partner of Laos.For China,China has given Laos a large number of trade assistance and series of cooperation programs to promote domestic investment in Laos,greatly promoted Laos’ s trade growth and investment among two countries.Laos and China have enhanced contacts and cooperation in economy and trade.Leaded Laos and China trade has developed rapidly,so Laos and China development trade has great potential.
