The capacity of railway passenger transportation in China will be further released with the further improvement of the railway network. How to make better use of transport capacity is a problem to be solved urgently for Chinese railway enterprises. On the other hand, with the increasingly fierce competition in passenger transport market, the railway enterprises must promote their marketing management to be refined and efficient if they want to occupy the dominant position and improve the overall income level. In the current context, revenue management has become an innovative way for China's railway passenger transport industry to make effective use of transport resources and improve competitiveness.Taking the railway passenger ticket revenue management based on the passenger transfer behaviors effected by supply-demand relationship as the research object,In order to maximize the overall revenue of enterprises, this paper can be divided into the following two parts:(1)quantitative description and analysis of passenger transfer behaviors under the mismatch between supply and demand;(2)establishing correlate revenue management model based on the passenger transfer behaviors under the mismatch between supply and demand with the research of multi-interval ticket optimization to guide forwardly these choice behaviors to change.First of all, this paper summarized and refined the research results of revenue management in recent years after an overview of its definition and application conditions, then pointed the main research trends of future revenue management, which were of great significance for future research about the research on the theory and method of railway passenger ticket revenue management in China.Secondly,in the aspect of railway passenger demand forecasting, this paper analyzed the reasons why the historical ticket data of the ticketing system can not reflect the real needs of passengers directly, introduced the concept of unconstrained demand forecast into the field of railway passenger ticket revenue management, and made a detailed review of the research on unconstrained demand estimation, which promoted the further improvement of railway passenger transport revenue management demand forecasting. Then,in terms of railway passenger choice behavior, taking the transfer behavior of passengers under the mismatch between supply and demand as the main research object,an initial passenger flow sharing rate model was established and a calculation method of passenger transfer probability between different passenger products was designed in this paper, not only reflect the demand desires for different passenger transport products, but also quantitatively describe the transfer behavior of passengers under the limitation of transportation capacity in reality. Finally,in the aspect of railway ticket revenue management model, focusing on the research trend of revenue management,on the one hand,in view of the current characteristics of single fare system of railway passenger transport in China, based on the passenger transfer behaviors under the supply and demand of two different passenger products, and embedding them into the network revenue management model, this paper establishes a nonlinear integer programming model to realize the joint optimization of two different passenger goods(Chapter 4);on the other hand, after analyzing the development trend of the future fare system, this paper used the nested seat control method to establish a multi-interval optimization model of two different price grade tickets for one type of seat(Chapter 5).The numerical analysis of the two models was carried out by some examples to observe the influence of passenger transfer behaviors on seat control decision and overall income.
