The surface of the covered area of the Hetao Plain is basically covered by the sediments from the late Pleistocene(Qp3),and it has been a difficult problem how to carry out Quaternary geological mapping,the content of mapping and the expression of the results in the plain area.Many people made a series of geological survey in the study area and the surrounding areas of active tectonics,rock mineral,and remote sensing research,but the research is relatively weak for Hetao Basin in Quaternary micro topography and micro physiognomy,new tectonic geomorphology response and active fault spatial distribution and land use status and soil salinization quantitative analysis etc.So it is essential to carry out remote sensing geological survey.Based on multi-source remote sensing data,this paper is based on the full absorption and sorting of previous research materials and results and their existing problems.The method of multi-source remote sensing data is studied for Quaternary geology,neotectonic activity,active tectonics and land use in Hetao basin.The main achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the study area of the Quaternary distribution and tectonic activity difference of SPOT-6,ASTER,data fusion,band band synthesis,histogram equalization,principal component analysis and a series of digital enhancement processing of DEM data and qualitative and quantitative human aerial survey data extraction of geomorphologic feature parameters,establishes remote sensing technology process research on Multi-source Remote sensing data in Hetao basin.(2)According to the different image characteristic of different geological bodies SPOT-6,ASTER data recognition area,preliminary determination of division of distribution area of Quaternary and relative timing,and through field experiments established in Quaternary sediments in the remote sensing interpretation signs to guide post mapping work.(3)UAV aerial photogrammetry for measuring area extraction of high precision DEM data and rendering the use,interpretation,analysis of river terraces distribution and extension direction of morphology and properties from macro scale solutions,combined with field measured sections to determine the river terraces of river terraces of material composition and order.Study on fault characteristics and fault section of landform and kinematic features of the Piedmont active fault zone of active faults,the extraction of new quantitative data structure,tectonic activities and other aspects of the analysis,activity intensity of Piedmont active fault vertical movement and horizontal dislocation.(4)The quantitative analysis of the land use area in the study area,and the detailed analysis of the data,and then systematically studied the land use structure,spatial differences in land use and land use in the study area.It provides basic reference for land use planning of Hetao basin.
