Establishment Of The Material Supply Early Warning System For Manufacturing Enterprises

If the Manufacturing enterprises occur materials shortage it will cause the production line to stop working and waiting for materials.Sometimes as soon as the materials arrive,the production line could not wait for IQC and start to work,thus may result in poor quality,delay in delivery and complain from customers.More over the customer may cancel the order,or the permission of new product development and production.And frequent contacting with suppliers for pushing them to finish the orders will also cause a lot of money and the profitability will be reduced.To solve the material shortage problem,the thesis aims to establish the Material Supply Early Warning System for Manufacturing Enterprises,which can reflect the shortage situation for a reasonable time before producing,so that the procurement could have plenty of time to contact with suppliers in advance,and production line is prevented from waiting for materials,the loss and waste is avoided,and a stable supply of material is ensured.This thesis also hopes to help others medium-sized and small enterprises improve their problems of material shortage by installing this Material Supply Early Warning System.This thesis starts from the perspective of material shortage and analyzes the reasons for shortage and two kinds of material systems which may cause the shutdown of the production line.The thesis then analyzes the general manufacturing enterprise’s solution for shortage in accordance with the procurement policy,inventory management and purchasing parameters.And with thousands of materials used for the case of company Y,through the improvement of three stages,the study finds out the most useful improvement solution to prevent shortage.This thesis combines the research with industrial application,and ultimately established the Material Supply Early Warning System,which can efficiently help the case company to save massive labor costs,reduce the poor quality of overtime work and the loss of inventory accumulation,and improve the work efficiency and the enterprise’s market competition advantage.
