Study On Chinese Mining Enterprises' Outward Foreign Direct Investment

Chinese OFDI in the mining industry is losing its dominance,but it will continue to play an important role at this stage.Because the fundamental reason for the foreign direct investment in Chinese mining industry is to obtain the strategic mineral resources,it is so important that Chinese mining enterprises should give priority to resource-rich countries and regions to OFDI.Also,they need a policy-friendly overseas government,which will not hinder their entry.Chinese mining enterprises should pay special attention to the issue of industry sensitivity.It always cause the failure for OFDI.Enterprises should pay more and more attention to "localization".Though the whole of OFDI,corporate with the local well-known enterprises,investment banks and other professional organizations will help the enterprises resolve almost all the issues.We thought about that Chinese government should also learn from the United States and the Japanese government to support enterprises in finance and business information getting.Based on the data and case,this paper analyzes the motivations,regional selection,current situation,risk and prevention,profitability of Chinese mining enterprises' OFDI.And reference to the history of foreign direct investment in developed countries.Hoping to help enterprises in need,to know the current situation of Chinese mining enterprises' OFDI activities,and the government's supporting way.Then guide practice.
