| The international economic situation to de-globalization has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges for the development of China and India’s two emerging economies.The new economic situation,China and India as two emerging economies show strong development potential.At the same time,China and India’s unique geographical advantages and cultural origins also laid a solid foundation for bilateral trade cooperation.However,the fact is not the case,because of the competitiveness of China and India trade structure and the similarities between the two stages of development,trade between the two countries and the quality of trade is not high.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the current situation of trade between China and India,to find out the existing problems and put forward rationalization proposals,which will have a far-reaching impact on accelerating China’s "the Belt and Road" strategy construction process,promoting economic development and global economic recovery.After briefly reviewing the development of Sino-Indian trade,this paper analyzes the bilateral trade scale,trade partnership,trade commodity structure,trade integration degree and intra-industry trade index between China and India.Draws the conclusion that the scale of trade between the two sides does not match the total economy,the trade volume of the two countries is relatively low and very uneven,trade goods are mainly concentrated in industrial semi-finished products and raw materials and other labor-intensive products,the two countries are still at a low level of trade integration and in the chemical products,mechanical and electrical products within the industry level of low-level conclusions.Then,the selection of China and India in 2011 to 2015 the top 16 trade volume of goods,from the international market share,dominant comparative advantage and trade competitiveness of the three countries compared the competitiveness of these products,both of them in the main trade products on a competitive advantage.China’s strong competitiveness of products mainly concentrated in industrial semi-finished products and manufactured goods,and India’s highly competitive products are primary agricultural products and raw materials,there is a strong trade complementarity between the two countries.Finally,combined with the status quo of China-India trade,the existing problems and the main trade products of their respective trade competitiveness,pointed out that China and India only in the optimization of bilateral trade environment on the basis of continuously improve intra-industry trade,improve trade quality and quantity,While gradually strengthening bilateral trade relations in order to solve the existing bilateral trade problems.Only China and India cooperate with each other,jointly change the current bilateral trade situation and fully tap the potential of Sino-Indian economic and trade cooperation,can they seize the opportunity of the global economic growth momentum transfer in the world,stand in the new global economic situation and realize the dream of being powerful countries. |
