Research On The Bilateral Trade Between China And Uzbekistan

China and Uzbekistan have close trade since ancient times.Uzbekistan is the most abundant natural resource between the five countries of Central Asia,with special geographical location and frequent trade with China.The categories of trade are energy trade,light industry trade,machinery trade and so on.With the increasingly close political relations between China and Uzbekistan,Uzbekistan has promoted China as a comprehensive strategic partner,we can see it from Uzbekistan's attention to China.In the latest trade statistics,China has become the largest trade exporter of Uzbekistan.In particular,China's "one belt,one road"implementation has laid a great foundation for Uzbekistan's trade development.In recent years,China and Uzbekistan have developed their trade relations with giant strides,by improving the trade structure and investment cooperation.To meet the goal of achieving bilateral trade volume of 5 billion US dollars in 2017 reached by the leaders of the two countries,China International Trade Promotion Committee is willing to take full advantage of the cooperation mechanism with the Uzbek side.Based on the development background and historical and cultural origins of Uzbekistan and China,first,this paper introduces the economic situation,resource advantages,foreign trade and attracting foreign investment in China and Uzbekistan.Secondly,it focuses on the things as they are of trade relations between China and Uzbekistan after Uzbekistan's independence.This paper analyzes the characteristics and trends of trade relations between the two sides on the basis of the theory of gravitational model.Although the prospect of Sino-Uzbek trade development is very good,there are still important problems in the analysis of the comparative advantage of the two countries' foreign trade.Finally,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the trade relations between the two sides,such as the lack of variety of commodities,unbalanced trade development;to find a proper solution to promote the smooth trade in China and Uzbekistan,expanding the amount of bilateral trade is critical.
