Research On The Path To Eco-economic Development In Xi’an Guided By The Marx’ Ecological View

Xi’an,the capital of Shaanxi Province,is one of the four ancient capitals of the world;the leader in City Group of Guanzhong area(the central Shaanxi plain);the origin city of Silk Road Economic Zone;the “bridgehead” of Western Development;and the core city for economic development in Guanzhong Tianshui district as well.Since the reform and opening-up,Xi’an has witnessed a soaring momentum in economic development,but meanwhile it has emerged growing ecological problems such as resource waste and environmental pollution that have severely threatened the stable development of Xi’an.In the past few years,“Blue Sky Plan”,“Eight Waters Nourishing Xi’an” and “Grand Green Project” have bettered its living environment,yet there is before us still a heavy responsibility and a long way to go to create an ecological environment with “blue sky,clean water,green land and beautiful city”.Therefore,it is imperative for Xi’an to speed up the transformation of the traditional development concept and make a big push to develop eco-economy.The eco-economic development path of Xi’an is studied in the paper under the guidance of Marx’s ecological view.Marx’s ecological view and ecological Marxism economics keeping pace with the times,are inevitable in liberating and developing both modern people and the nature,as well as in accelerating Chinese socialist modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Taking Xi’an as an example,the paper explores the practicability and feasibility of both theories,making the research be of profound theoretical value.Also,the eco-economic development in Xi’an city is a necessary requirement to grasp the essential attribute and scientific connotation of socialist ecological civilization,and go with the tide of the times;and is a rational choice to fully play the comparative advantage and a common aspiration of the Xi’an people.Given that developing eco-economy has become a significant and pressing task and a necessary road to the future,the research on the path of eco-economic development in Xi’an is rather meaningful for practice.Through the literature analysis,generalization and summarization,and interdisciplinary research method,the paper summarizes the basic connotation and evolution of Marx’s ecological view and eco-economy.Based upon this,it points out the great value of Marx’s ecological view in guiding eco-economy.Then,the feasibility analysis is made on eco-economic development in Xi’an,including introducing the overview of Xi’an and its effect of eco-economy,and creatively applying SWOT method to analyze the strength,weakness,opportunity and threat in its eco-economic development.It turns out that eco-economy is the inevitable course for Xi’an.Finally,standing on the position of government,enterprise and citizen,the paper puts forward specific suggestions on the path to eco-economic development in Xi’an guided by Marx’s ecological view.First,Xi’an government should play a leading role in this process,including to formulate and perfect related laws and regulations;guard against environmental pollution;carry out energy saving and emission reduction measures;endeavor to protect and govern the ecological function areas;promote the greening and beautification of key areas;vigorously develop ecological tourism relying on human and culture resource advantages;establish a comprehensive scientific evaluation system for eco-economy;and widely spread eco-economy education.Second,enterprises in Xi’an should fulfill the responsibility of environment protection from cultivating a scientific concept of development;pushing technological innovation for energy-saving and consumption-reduction forward,and establishing an environmental-protection incentive mechanism.Third,Xi’an citizens should enhance their environmental and ecological civilization awareness,and follow a healthy and energy-saving lifestyle.These three aspects can help from many aspects,multi-level,multi-angle to promote the sustainable development of Xi’an ecological economic transformation,construct the beautiful Xi’an,come true the harmonious coexistence between man and nature,environment,economy and society,realize the aim of charming livable city and happy home.
