With the development of world economy,especially in electronic industry,China has become one of the most important manufacturing and market of electronic products.EMS(Electronic Manufacturing Services)enterprises is playing an important role of this course.Through the comparison of traditional inventory control techniques and modern strategies,author states and explains the concept and advantages of JMI(Jointly Managed Inventory)in detail with mathematical models.JMI can weaken bullwhip effect improve supply chain operation and decrease total cost effectively.Manage inventory base on IT platform and set up a scientific inventory control strategy for enterprises is development direction.This article describes and analyzes the real case to illustrate author's viewpoint with statistical tools and graphics.And explain the advantages of JMI with the help of solid business data from forecast accuracy,inventory turnover rate and on time delivery rate.From SCM(Supply Chain Management)perspective,the essence of inventory control is to keep supply-demand balance in economic way.“China Manufacturing 2025”(1)is Chinese version of Industry 4.0.The new industry environment has a big influence on supply chain management and inventory control.Intelligent manufacturing means the organization of production will become customized,distributed and amalgamating,there is no border between internet and industry enterprises.Inventory is controlled in real time and visible in whole process,and it will promote agile supply chain construction.This article generate new ideas and bring innovative content.It combine theory with practice,adopt qualitative and quantitative analysis,to discuss and expound inventory management from micro to macro perspective.
