With the rapid development of tourism industry,tourism,as an environmental,sustainable and low-cost way of economic development,has gained widely attention,and gradually becomes the pillar industry of economic development.In the past three years,the proportion of domestic tourism revenue of Nanjing in its GDP has maintained at about 16%.thus tourism plays an important support role in economic development of Nanjing.Many studies of abroad scholars show that the extension of length of time can increase tourists’ spending,in turn,promote the development of tourism economy,the part of the domestic literature give the same conclusion.In many parts of domestic tourists,length of stay reduce gradually,such as Xianning.Qufu.Dalian,etc.Statistical yearbooks do not list information about the change situation of length of stay tourists who visit Nanjing,also no relevant literature study it.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the influence factors of stay of length that the domestic tourists visit Nanjing.According to the existing literature research of length of stay,the paper divides the influence factors of length of stay into the following four categories:destination factors,travel factors,transportation factors,limiting factors.Then put forward the hypothesis of this study combined with tourism consumer behavior,tourism decision theory,tourist motivation theory,distance decay theory.After an empirical study using questionnaires,distribute the questionnaire in Nanjing famous attractions:Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum scenic spot.Confucius temple,the presidential palace,data are collected from foreign tourists who visit Nanjing.After descriptive analysis.One-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis and multiple logistic regression analysis implemented by SPSS 21.0,and we determine the influencing factors of length of stay that domestic tourists visit Nanjing are:price level of destination,service quality of destination,quantity of high-grade tourism scenic,number of visiting scenic spots,travel way.travel arrangements,transportation price,free time,distance between tourists and destination.Specific results are as follows:(1)demographic characteristics(gender,age,education,occupation,monthly income),times of visiting Nanjing,tourist motivation have no significant influence on stay of length;price level of destination,service quality of destination,quantity of high-grade tourism scenic,number of visiting scenic spots,transportation price,distance between tourists and destination,free time have significant positive influence on stay of length;travel way,travel arrangements have significant negative influence on stay of length;(2)To stay of length,there are remarkable differences on dimensions variables of travel way,travel arrangements,number of visiting scenic spots,means of transportation,times of visiting Nanjing. |
