Certification originated in Europe and the United States in the early 20th century.With the improvement of the economic society and the rapid development of global trade,certification industry is developing rapidly.The management system certification,energy conservation certification,environmental protection and product certification are gradually known by public.As an independent third party,certification bodies plays a more and more important role in the market economy and global trade.Based on its credibility,certification bodies promote the establishment of the trust relationship between the sellers and the buyers,effectively promoted the development of commodity economy and promote the improvement of enterprise product quality and management level in the process of certification of enterprises,As consumer quality consciousness awareness,the quality of products and services are highly valued,quality certification attracts widespread attention as well.Because of the low industry’s barriers of quality system certification bodies,market competition is intense.Some certification bodies ignored quality management,credibility of it has fallen.As a monopoly industry,certification body supervise the certification customer strictly,so it maintained a high society credibility.The certification bodies’ quality management is critical to its survival and development.To maintain a sustained and healthy development,the certification body must strictly implement certification standards and maintain high certification quality and credibility of authentication,while as the certification industry competition intensifies,in order to win customers,certification bodies should provide high quality service to improve customer satisfaction.Currently the number of research on manufacture quality management and public services quality management is huge,but few research is made on the quality management of certification.Manufacture quality management mainly focus on the quality of product,the management of services quality mainly focus on customer satisfaction,and quality management of product certification should give attention to both of them.Supervision audit is an important part of the product certification,so the quality management of certification supervision is critical to the product quality assurance and customer satisfaction.Through the case study on XL certification follow-up inspection service management,this paper study on the quality management of the certification body.The paper adopts the method of literature research and case research,based on theory of total quality management and service quality management,the XL certification follow-up inspection service quality management are studied.The paper introduces the system of product certification,the present situation of XL certification follow-up inspection quality management,points out the problems existing in its quality management,analyzes the factors influencing the quality of XL follow-up inspection quality certification,work out improvement method,such as staff motivation,training management,customer segmentation. |
