With the continuing operations of B2C e-commerce enterprises,warehouse can't store more goods under the saving space limited,and the phenomenon of the warehouse shortage happens frequently.According to sales volume,the inventory of the B2C e-commerce enterprises can be divided into three categories,namely best-selling items,poor-selling items and ordinary items.Best-selling item is the main source of corporate profits,and poor-selling item is the bottleneck of enterprise profit increased.If B2C e-commerce enterprises can decrease the inventory of poor-selling items and increase the inventory of best-selling items under the saving space limited,the enterprise will get more profits.Thus,managers promote the poor-selling items and order best-selling items for increasing profit.Theoretically,promoting poor-selling items may lose profits,but ordering and selling best-selling items will get more profits.It is possible to increase enterprise's profit to do a tradeoff between loss and gain.However,when the combination of promotion and ordering,or the free up space is unreasonable,the profit is plunged instead of gain.To solve this problem better,this dissertation takes promotion as a means to study the saving space allocation problem of B2C e-commerce enterprises' best-selling items and poor-selling items.This dissertation takes the 3C products of e-commerce enterprise Q for example.Firstly,through an investigation of the current storage space assignment status,especial the current storage space assignment status of the best-selling items and the poor-selling items,and points out the existing problems,including that poor-selling items take up resources for a long time but no profits,and best-selling items create large profits but no storage space.Secondly,this dissertation analyses the functional relationship between demand and discount factor,and discuss various costs and profits.Thirdly,taking the freeing up space as a decision variable,maximizing revenue as targets,doing a tradeoff between costs and profits of the combination of promotion and order,then storage space assignment mathematical model is established.When the costs and profits of the combination promotion and ordering meet the different conditions under the certain discount factor,we discuss the change of the optimal value of the freeing up space.Finally,it confirmed the validity of model by the actual data of Q enterprise,and discusses the impact of discount factors and commodity volume on combination benefits.
