An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Two-way Integration Of Service Industry And Manufacturing Industry On Industrial Performance

With the constant development of the global economy,except the growing contribution of service industry to economic growth,industrial integration plays a more and more important role in the development of industry and increasingly becomes a new growth point of domestic economy.Industrial integration index is also increasingly recognized by scholars.Based on the analysis of the development of service industry and manufacturing industry,this paper calculates the index of industrial integration of service industry and manufacturing industry.And referring to a large number of literature,learning and absorbing the knowledge which is helpful to the research of this paper and using empirical analysis to describe the influence degree,these provide support for theoretical research.The main content of this paper making full use of the input-output table of eighteen countries in the world input-output table(WIOD)prepared by the European Union from 2000 year to 2014 years to divided the eighteen countries into major advanced economies and emerging economies,calculates the integration index,describes the data characteristics,and research the industrial performance impact of service to manufacture and manufacture to service by the imperial analysis.The results show that the industrial convergence index cannot be used as an only measure of the level of economic development.In the major advanced economies,whether it is the impact of service manufacturization on the performance of the service industry or the impact of manufacturing servicelization on manufacturing industry performance,the effect is very significant.Therefore,inter industry integration has a significant role in promoting industrial performance and the major advanced economies should strengthen the integration of industries in order to achieve rapid economic development.In emerging economies,whether it is the impact of service manufacturization on the performance of the service industry or the impact of manufacturing servicelization on manufacturing industry performance,the effect is not very ideal.This mainly due to the development of the service industry and the manufacturing industry is relatively backward and the strength of technological innovation is weak,actually in a state of low efficiency equilibrium.Therefore,in order to achieve the long-term development of the performance of the service industry and the performance of the manufacturing industry,the emerging economies need to break the state of "low efficiency equilibrium",and upgrading the industrial structure,increasing investment in technology and personnel training,production of high value-added products,enhancing international competitiveness,to promote the role of industrial integration in promoting domestic economic growth.
