The Research On The Impact Of Service Export Sophistication On China's Industrial Upgrading

At present,with the rapid development of the service economy,service industry and service trade become a development engine when world economy is in a post-crisis adjustment and recovery phase.The servitization characteristics of the world economy tend to be obvious,and it is become integration among the manufacturing,agriculture and service industry,the trend of manufacturing industry servitization and service industry transboundary is in-depth development.At the same time,the continuous development of information technology makes the organization form,business model,trading methods,trading objects and so on,which are undergoing profound changes,and have a significant role on the industrial structure upgrading.China is in a critical period of economic transformation and development;therefore,it is meaningful for this thesis to study whether it can affect China's industrial upgrading from the perspective of service export sophistication.The increase in service export sophistication shows the improvement of export quality,and can reflect the technical level and the status of international division of labor of the service industry to a certain degree.And then the service export sophistication can promote industrial upgrading through the service industry's technological progress and the transfer of elements.Theoretically,the service export sophistication can affect the industrial upgrading.And then,the thesis found that service export sophistication can positively affect China's industrial upgrading whether long-term or both short-term through the ADF test,cointegration analysis and error correction model for empirical testing.This thesis is divided into the following parts: The first part is to clarify the research ideas,clear research objectives,grasp the research direction from the overall,and then build the overall framework of the thesis.The second part theoretically studies whether the service export sophistication has an impact on industrial upgrading through the general analysis of service export sophistication and the industrial upgrading.The third part analyses the present situation of service export sophistication,and finds that although the service export sophistication has improved,there are still problems of export,such as quantity and quality mismatch,small scale,the low added value,serious deficit and so on.The fourth part is the empirical test,it is about the impact of serviceexport sophistication for industrial upgrading by using ADF test,cointegration analysis and error correction model.The measurement results show that service export sophistication can affect the industry upgrading positively.For control variable,R&D,FDI also have a positive impact on China's industrial upgrading.There is no positive impact of human capital on the upgrade,but human capital is closely related to industrial upgrading.The empirical results provide theoretical basis for the policymakers.Finally,on the basis of theoretical research and empirical test,the thesis puts forward the corresponding policy recommendations of improving China's service export sophistication and industrial upgrading.According to the current situation and under the condition of limited resources,China should promote service export sophistication,thus promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure through optimizing service trade export structure,optimizing the allocation of human capital,increasing investment in R&D and introducing appropriately foreign direct investment.
