Abstract/Summary:
Innovation is increasingly becoming the essential characteristics of the present era and a fundamental driving force for economic sustainable growth and social sustainable development under the call of "Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation" by the government.Also,the importance of entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurship for innovation is becoming concerned by more scholars.Social Entrepreneurship Orientation is the core meaning of social entrepreneurship.Most current research studies on the relationship between Social Entrepreneurship Orientation and the final result variable such as performance,however,the complex process mechanism of SEO in internal organization is still unclear that how Social Entrepreneurship Orientation act to performance within the organization.It has been confirmed by many scholars that Organizational innovation is important for the final value creation.Innovation has become the standpoint and it is the driving force of social entrepreneurial enterprises’development and economic growth.It is necessary to clarify the relationship between the social entrepreneurial orientation and organizational innovation,and investigate the extent of social entrepreneurship orientation in Chinese organizations and how it works to improve Organizational Innovation within a organization.Facts have proved that China appears more and more start-ups,and also more and more companies are growing and go to mature from start-ups and then go to the second venture,These enterprises want to survive,develop,grow in the complex environment in which uncertainty has become the norm,it needs compatible open society awareness and operational capabilities of social resources,it needs to seize the fleeting opportunity and respond to unexpected situations and risk.Improvisation and dynamic capabilities in organizational can help enterprise deal with these challenges or risks.Thus,it is important to explore the mechanism of improvisation and dynamic capabilities in the process of Social Entrepreneurial Orientation influencing Organizational Innovation.So this paper add improvisation and dynamic capabilities in path relations from Social entrepreneurial orientation to organizational innovation based on clearing related concepts,then construct the Dual Mediation Model and do empirical test,the conclusions as below:(1)The Social Entrepreneurial Orientation play an important role on organizational innovation.Social Entrepreneurship Orientation is an important factor to enhance the innovative capabilities of a organization,the higher its level is,the stronger the ability of organizational innovation will be.In addition to focus on economic interests and growth,a company must pay attention to social benefits to seek sustainable living,and construct strategic direction which has dual objectives of economic growth and social value,to achieve win-win between enterprises by cooperation,thus promoting organizational innovation to achieve sustained growth.(2)Social Entrepreneurial Orientation can help train and develop improvisation and dynamic capabilities within the organization.As concerning about the economic and social objectives achieving at the same time,social entrepreneurship-oriented organization is more likely to perceive the new social and market demands,thus it is under more risk and resource constraints.Improvisation and dynamic capability are two abilities with which this kind of organization faces the environmental uncertainty.It is easier for enterprises which has Social Entrepreneurial Orientation to promote the upgrading of organizational improvisation and dynamic capacity levels.(3)Improvisation and dynamic capabilities can promote organizational innovation either.Improvisation helps organizations improve their allocation of resources,promote changing the rules of the organization and the concept,thus result in new mental models or organizational routines and achieving organizational innovation。Dynamic capabilities enhances the company’s ability that can help it with adaption to market changes,it makes it easier to find market opportunities,resources and ability to integrate and reconstruct organization,to achieve management innovation and conduct product innovation timely and effectively meanwhile.(4)Improvisation and dynamic capabilities are having a partial mediator between social entrepreneurial orientation and organizational innovation,which together act as a mediator of social entrepreneurial orientation and organizational innovation.
