Weighing Division Status In Global Value Chain Of Enterprises In Zhejiang And The Way To Improve It

Under the background of global value chain becoming the main mode of international division,Chinese export enterprises rapidly embeded the global value chain with the advantage of labor and resource endowment.Zhejiang as one of the first batch of open provinces,is a typical example.With the change of development stage,development environment and development conditions,advantages of the original system and mechanism and endogenous power of traditional development model of Zhejiang province gradually weaken,there is an urgent need to create new advantages,system upgrading division status in the global value chain.This paper has built a micro-model to measure the company's division status in global value chain based on Upwards' trade-value-added model.Using the matching data of Chinese industrial enterprise database and Chinese customs database,this paper estimates the division status of global value chain of Zhejiang export enterprises in 2000-2013.Then based on the heterogeneity of enterprises trade theory,this paper studied on how does index of firm heterogeneity influence the enterprises' division status in global value chain from three aspects(technology,enterprise scale,capital type),through descriptive analysis and empirically analyze using Tobit model.The measurement results shows:(1)In general,Zhejiang's enterprises global value chain division status way ahead in our country.(2)From the technical aspect,high-tech-company have been in the lower position of the chain.The Low-tech-company have been in the higher position of global value chain.(3)From the aspect of enterprise scale and capital type,enterprises in smaller size and company with domestic capitals have higher division status in global value chain.Further empirical research shows that:(1)the efficiency of enterprises in global value chain division status has significant positive effect,especially for high tech enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises is more significant;(2)financing ability in the enterprise global value chain division status showed significant negative correlation,mainly reflected in the low technology and small and medium-sized enterprises;(3)the interaction efficiency and financing capacity of enterprises significant position in the global division of labor value chain promotion showed a positive correlation.Finally,this paper puts forward suggestions for enterprises to enhance the division status of the global value chain from the aspects of trade mode promotion,enterprise efficiency promotion and financing ability,etc.
