Industrial Economic Development Strategy Research Of Chengnan New District Of Yancheng City

Amidst the increasingly fierce competition in urban development and the increasingly rigid restraints of the development elements like land,capital and environment,regional development rate and quality can be directly linked by a scientific judgment of the situation and a correct or a timely adjusted economic development strategy suitable to local conditions and development rule for an accurate positioning in regional economic and social development.Most of the cities in north Jiangsu Province have gradually begun to pay attention to urban economic development quality while they are pursuing rapid expansion of economic aggregate.Planning and building new district thus has become a common choice for all levels of local government to accelerate urbanization and urban modernization and develop new power source for urban economy growth.The cardinal question the new districts in north Jiangsu are facing is to choose the appropriate economic development strategy,positively support national strategy—developing Jiangsu coastal and Yangtze River Delta areas,and transform the previous industrial economic form to knowledge economy and service economy to promote the optimization and updating of the whole economic industrial structure.The thesis,with ChengNan New District of YanCheng City as the research target,has made a comprehensive analysis on the economic operation of the new district,by comprehensively using related theories of macro economy,urban economy,urban management and strategy management,and thus has scientifically summarized the current economic development practice to find the problems and the aspects still requiring improvement.Meanwhile,SWOT matrix and other strategic analysis tools have also been used in this thesis for a detailed analysis on the threats,opportunities,advantages and disadvantages of the economic development strategy of the new district;besides,the thesis has also comprehensively analyzed the bottleneck issues the new district is facing in the course of development and made some exploration for the economic development strategy suitable for ChengNan District.The thesis includes five parts around the systematic research on ChengNan New District economic development strategy.Part one is about the outline of the basic theories related to economic development strategy and the importance to regional development;part two makes an analysis on the current economic situation of the new district,including geographic condition,economic operation status,economic operation analysis and the problems in developing the economy of ChengNan New District;part three mainly focuses on new district development experience at home and abroad;in part four SWOT matrix is used for an analysis on the economic development of ChengNan New District to establish an appropriate economic development mode;while a general thought and plan on the economic development strategy of the new district has been explored in part five;and in part six it has proposed development strategy highlights and corresponding supporting measures for big data industry.The industrial economic development strategy will allow ChengNan New District to fully absorb the development experience and results of the developed regions,build a solid foundation for the development of national economy and society,and for the realization of the "twelfth five-year plan" and future economic development goal,and offer beneficial reference value to the development of north Jingsu and new district economy.
