In recent years, microfinance because of its flexibility and effectiveness, on a global scale is more and more attention. Beginning in 2001, our country is vigorously promoting to the rural credit cooperatives across the country to participate in microfinance, microfinance has got rapid development in everywhere, not only solve the problem of the farmers’ living and development, as well as the reform and development of the rural credit cooperatives has injected new vitality.Based on this, this paper studied on the development of rural microfinance, first of all, defines the concept of rural microfinance in China, introduces its main characteristics and functions, and discusses the theory about the development of the microfinance, as the basis of this study. Secondly, introduces the development status quo of rural microfinance, mainly from the development history, product innovation related policy and operation mechanism has been studied; Then to Cili city rural credit cooperatives as the research object, firstly analyzes the current situation of the development of rural microfinance demand and of Cili city, next, using the analytic hierarchy process and multi-objective decision analysis to build the performance evaluation system of the rural credit cooperatives microfinance mode, welfare and sustainability from financial institutions, farmers microcredit coverage three dimensions, analyzes the factors affecting the performance of rural credit cooperatives microfinance. To Cili city based on the evaluation system of rural credit cooperatives microfinance development existing evaluation, according to the evaluation results, combined with the Cili city rural credit cooperatives microfinance practice, then put forward the concrete Suggestions for improvement.
