With the growth of economy in our country,the enterprise management is becoming a highlighted point. The role of human source management in the enterprise has been gradually outstood and turning to be a key focus of enterprise. Enterprise's human resources management level is becoming a key measurement of enterprise comprehensive strength. It is also the core strategic resources of enterprises. An excellent human resource management is based on a set of effective human resource management system, which impacts on all kind of human resources activities. Compensation management is an important module in human resource management. On one hand, enterprises need to attract and stabilize talents. On the other hand, companies need to consider its labor cost. Therefore, to design of a scientific and reasonable salary system can drive the motivation and stabilize the team. And it can enhance the competitiveness of enterprises at the same time.Y company is a small and medium-sized private own enterprises which is young but grows very rapidly. In view of the problems from its salary system, Y company intends to design a new salary system. This thesis takes Y company as the research object to design a salary system.In this thesis, first of all, I will analyze the existing problems in the salary system of Y company by the questionnaire survey, Interview, observation, work log., the “28 factor”, data analysis and other methods and tools. Meanwhile, I will sort out basic work of salary design such as re-analyzing and re-evaluate Jobs. Secondly, to determine the level of payment by the analysis of internal and external factors in order to design the salary structure according to the different grades of posts, designing performance payment according to the different jobs, to balance the fairness and competitiveness of the compensation system. Finally, the feasibility analysis is carried out, and the implementation of the compensation system is guaranteed by the supporting performance appraisal and training.According to the design and application of Y Company's compensation system, I hope to establish a set of compensation system for the development of Y Company at the current stage and this compensation system will be a reference for small and medium-sized private own enterprises.
