Government Environmental Policy Audit Study

It is really the case that environmental pollution accidents have happened more frequent than before in these years, which restricting the sustainable development of Chinese economy. Environmental policies of government, as a significant component in public policies, may play a positive role in preventing and controlling the pollution and environmental protection. In order to find out how to better implementing the environmental auditing and serving for ecological civilization construction, the author summarized the existing literature and did numbers of practical researches, which taking the management of environmental pollution as an example to find out the problems and causes of environmental policies, paving the way for better implementing the government's environmental auditing.The whole paper can be divided into three parts. Firstly, it discusses the basic concepts of government's environmental auditing. In the second part, taking the prevention and control of the environmental pollution as an example, the author makes a deep analysis of the problems existing in the establishment and implement of environmental policies of government. Lastly, the author points out the solutions to the government's environmental auditing:strengthen the auditing of environmental policies in their establishment, implement and termination.
