With the acceleration of economic development and urbanization, traffic jams, environmental pollution, failed urban emergency response system,Excessive consumption of resources and other urban governance issues have become increasingly prominent.Smart city construction has become the focus of urban management and related experts and scholars against such background.Meanwhile,In the process of city expansion. It is often seen.lake reclamation, ecological green land occupation, occupation of farmland of outskirts of a city phenomenon. To further increase the difference of supply and demand of urban land resources. How to use smart city of advanced ideas and technology to solve the intensive use of land, change the urban land utilization status, save land resources, improve the urban land service efficiency,is particularly urgent. The author in reading a lot of domestic and foreign about the smart city construction and intensive use of urban land relevant literature, reorganizing and analyzing related theories of smart city and urban land intensive use,Combining with the current situation of land use in Wuhan City,Using BP artificial neural network model Construct evaluation index system of land intensive use in Wuhan, and then based on Clementine software operate the result by using BP artificial neural network model. The results show that intensive land use in Wuhan overall level was winding up trend nearly five years, the infrastructure of smart city is also constantly improving. But the situation of land resources over utilization in Wuhan also exists.According to the research conclusion and land use problems of Wuhan, the author puts forward the following suggestions:1.Optimizing the industrial structure, promoting the rational allocation of land resources;2.Improving the level of intensive use of land relying on the driving force of the smart city construction;3.Consolidating urban land, revitalizing the stock of urban land;4.Increasing land capital investment, improving the efficiency of urban land use;5.Making scientific planning and rational distribution, promoting the optimal allocation of urban land resource;6.Setting up evaluation system of intensive use of urban land.
