This paper makes researches on the key technique of multi-antenna combining to realize the efficient receiving of low SNR signals.After giving the multi-antenna combining model,this thesis mainly focus on the carrier frequency offset(CFO)and sampling frequency offset(SFO)estimation and compensation for very long baseline arraying,the combining weight estimate for non-uniform antenna arraying in the AWGN channel,and the combining algorithm in the unknown frequency selective slow fading channels among the signals.Finally,the multi-antenna signal combining digital prototype system is designed and implemented on the MATLAB platform using the GUI tool.Different from the existing time and frequency synchronization technology,the proposed joint CFO and SFO estimation and compensation method provides a new solution to eliminate the effect of different local oscillator precision for very long baseline arraying.Meanwhile,the two modified combining algorithms have better performance than the SUMPLE algorithm without distinctly increasing computational cost on non-uniform antenna arraying.Otherwise,an effective blind combining algorithm based on the digital channelization techniques is presented to improve the signals quality at low SNR in the frequency selective channels regardless of signal modulation mode.
