Surface Plasmon polaritions(SPPs),as an important part of nano photonics because its own characteristics,which is the interaction between the incident photons and the free electrons on the surface of the metal from the non radiative electromagnetic model,the spread along the surface of metal-medium of evanescent wave.Because it has the characteristics of transmission enhancement,subwavelength constraints,The micro nano photonic devices based on surface plasmon polaritons have met the requirements of miniaturization and integration,which has become one of the hot topics in recent years.The domestic and international research status and some basic theoretical knowledge of surface plasma are introduced,the research of several based on surface plasmons micro nano photonic devices,the main work has the following several aspects:We put forward based on the MDM waveguide ring-cavity structure,the structure consists of a straight channel waveguide and nano ring embedded in the metal base,Ring radius and the refractive index of a material are studied on the influence of the transmission curve.The study found that when the change of the radius of the circle,we can see the location of the center wavelength with the increase of the radius is also increasing.After we study the relationship between refractive index and center wavelength,we also get the same results,that the refractive index material relationship with the central wavelength is also a linear relationship,with the increase of the refractive index of center wavelength values are increasing.We proposed based on the MDM multi-channel WDM device,the structure by a straight waveguide and circular cavity embedded in metal base composition,It is mainly studied in the wavelength range between 600 nm to 1300 nm light transmission characteristics.The structure was improved in our follow-up work.we can also realize single beam of light through the straight waveguide back in the direction of the output port with different output by changing the output port and straight waveguide angle,this structure achieves the optimization.We put forward a kind of all,optical switch logic gate,the structure is composed of two straight waveguide and circular cavity,two straight waveguides in the annular cavity of the upper and lower sides,we studied the principles of optical switch xor logic gate.First we studied the single circular cavity,and analyzes the field intensity and the relationship between the wavelength graph,and then using the formula of calculation and analysis,it is concluded that the dark and bright ring cavity with the corresponding relationship between the refractive index and the influence factors between wavelength and ring spacing.By introducing a new method of plus light source to change the material's refractive index,we can see that not only the material refractive index,but also the spacing between the two ring are the key factors that affect the outcome.
