Three dimensional structure models have broad application prospects in virtual reality,industry measurement,and other fields.With the continuous development of technology,three dimensional modeling methods tend to be diversified.Through the image,which is based on computer vision technology,three-dimensional models get more and more attention.This method,which is flexible,can realize automatic or semi-automatic modeling.Digital images as important information storage and transmission media can store and reflect abundant information.The research of digital images has formed multiple niche.Firstly,we summarize the development of modeling based on digital image in this paper.This part mainly contains low altitude unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),reconstruction based on image,and the development of computer vision measurement.Traditional computer vision measurement with mark points can't meet the requirements of flexibility and rapidity.This paper proposes to obtain the structure and geometry information of buildings quickly.A batch processing based on positional information which UAVs provide reduces complexity of images matching.Extracting partial point clouds finds out mark points.Transformation with cameras center height information obtains main geometric information.Experiment improves that this measurement can obtain the main geometric information of buildings without preset mark points.This measurement method can improve the flexibility of computer vision measurement and use in more cases.Secondly,this paper expounds how to identify the characteristics on the surface of the structure,such as windows and doors.This part also introduces the application of pattern recognition in digital images.This part uses template matching method,which identifies the characteristics of the building surface,through the establishment of knowledge base.Through the external features to estimate the internal structure,more comprehensive information can be provided.Finally,the full text is summarized.Aiming at the problems in research and the insufficiency,the future work is prospected.
