With the development of science and technology and the updating of sophisticated instruments,the observed data in the field of science is in explosive growth and various.How to effectively access and manage scientific data has become a problem that needs to solve urgently for scientists.Because table-structure data of traditional relational database can not be well supported for scientific array data,but also brings about the great additional overhead in the conversion of two data structures and other aspects.In order to solve the problem of traditional relational database,array database came into being.It not only provides a more efficient choice for the storage management of scientific data,but also enhances the analytical efficiency of scientific data for scientists in various fields.At the same time,the index in the traditional database research field is one of the most critical technology,and is also an effective solution of quick data queries.However,due to the different storage method between the array database and the traditional relational database,the single type of index tree structure can not fully support the scientific analysis for various complex type queries and data organizations.Therefore,this paper proposes the implementation of generalized search tree into the array database,not only to meet the needs of scientific data for the index,but also provide high-performance complex analytical query services for scientists.In this paper,through the analysis of the data storage structure of the array database,a new index structure--generalized search tree is designed and implemented for the performance bottleneck in the complex analytic query.The structure of the array database solves the lack of scientific data in the complex analysis queries,and according to different types of query statements to build flexible structures to obtain the array database system analysis and processing performance greatly improved.The paper's main research content is:(1)Studying array database data model and storage;(2)Constructing a generalized search tree calling interface in the array database;(3)Constructing the index structure based on the common index framework in the array database;(4)Evaluating the performance of the generalized search tree in the array database through the Proxmox VE cloud computing platform and the real experimental environment.
