With the continuous development of information technology and the massive construction of data center,high-tech products and equipment set more stringent requirements for the quality of power supply.The uninterrupted power supply(UPS),which can provide steady frequency and high quality power supply,has become the focus of attention.In order to improve the performance of UPS and meet the requirements of application,The Z-source inverter will be applied to UPS system to make the inverter circuit can operate in shoot-through state and achieve the buck-boost function through controlling the hoot-through vector in this paper.Firstly,this paper introduces the research and development of UPS and Z source inverter,as well as the traditional UPS classification,composition,control methods.The basic principle and modulation method of SPWM control technology are analyzed,and the simulation circuit is built in MATLAB/SIMULINK to compare the different modulation methods.Secondly,this paper introduces a novel inverter topology—Z source inverter,analyzes the topology and the Buck / Boost mechanism,the control methods of Z source inverter and methods for realizing direct zero vector,and verifies its unique Buck / Boost characteristics by simulation under the control based on the simple boost SPWM modulation.Then,a new online UPS topology based on Z source inverter is studied on the basis of traditional UPS and voltage and current double closed-loop control system is established to keep the output voltage constant,has a good dynamic performance and steady-state performance.Finally,in this paper,the control strategy and workflow of Z source UPS are analyzed and designed based on the DSP controller chip of TMS320F28335.To build the capacity of Z 5kVA source UPS simulation model in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment,the simulation experiments are carried out in the normal power supply and battery power supply system,and simulation results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis.
