Vehicle borne lidar,the core sensor of the autonomous land vehicle,is a potential uprising technology around the world.Based on the above backgrounds,the self-designed 12 lasers distance measure sensors by the research group was adopted for the system design of the mobile liar and the study of the scanning experiments.Based on thorough investigation of the datas,Mige-FHB3910 stepping motor was chosen as the rotation driving parts and SRH3899-12S slip rings as power supply and data transmission components to realize the system design of the principle prototype of the 12 lasers vehicle borne lidar and to realize the 360 degree scanning imaging within 100 meters of 5Hz frame.Cloud data processing program which is applied for the experiments of the lidar principle prototype to realize the functions of data reading,coordinate variation,noise smoothing and triangle mesh reconstruction.Based on this,prototype scanning imaging experiments of the typical scenario were did by the prototype scanning and the 3-D cloud data which could reflect the real scenario was achieved.Through contrast analysis,it lays a strong foundation for the subsequent 3-D scene in motion.Besides,the paper put forward a upgraded programme for vehicle borne lidar scanning system and introduces the device of adaptive detection of the elevation angle and the data transmission plan,which was applied for a patent.
