These years violent terrorist attacks occurred all over the world, we urgently need the equipment which can quickly and effectively detect explosives, guns and knives. The X-ray detector has strong radiation, which may cause damage to our human body. The metal door security instrument can only check the body whether carry metal objects, but not determine what thing they are, so it needs to further security personnel search which may violate human rights. Terahertz active imagine system can improve the monitoring ability of conventional dangerous goods, and the imagines it shows can easily tell us what thing they are, so it has attracted more and more attention.At present the technology in the study of terahertz imagine grow more in-depth, but so far there is not a mature technology has been recognized by the market. This thesis mainly uses the electromagnetic wave theory of terahertz radiation source system by irradiating human reflection echo through the optical system was collected into the detector, and present the parameters on terahertz source and detector. The feasibility of imagine system and imagine quality is analyzed by simulation, based on the principle of optics, detector and field, and discusses the method to improve the resolution of the follow-up. Finally the 0.14THz active imagine system is verified through the experiment.The imaging system designed in this paper has a resolution of 2cm and the imaging rate of 24 frames per second. Then one-source and multi-source 0.14THz active imagine systems have been built to prvoe the imagine theory is correct.
