Wavelet analysis has developed rapidly in recent years, which has become a new branch of mathematics. Initially, wavelet analysis was independently discovered by the researchers, for the pluralistic harmonic analysis, its development is a milestone. It can be seen that the trend of fusion, cross and penetration between subjects in modern science and technology is the result of a typical pure and applied mathematics, and engineering technology combined with each other, with significant influence, In the international arena it has become a hot topic, and its development is also in the ascendant. The focus of this paper is to study the application of wavelet analysis. The purpose is to break through mathematical barriers of wavelet analysis, prominent its practical features, just as the Fourier analysis, make wavelet analysis become a analysis tools, which is basic and universal, easy to learn and apply. Wavelet transform consists of two parts:wavelet frame and wavelets, these two parts are unified development. For image processing, the computational complexity of them is the same, however, the wavelet not only improves the shortcomings of frame orthogonal wavelet, but also added a certain amount of redundancy, and it also preserves other wavelet's features in addition to the orthogonal. Compared with the orthogonal wavelet, wavelet frame has greater stability and is easier to construct. So this paper is mainly study the application of wavelet framework on image processing.Image enhancement and face recognition are two important parts of image processing.Image enhancement is one of the most basic image processing technologies, to process the image, and enhance image clarity purposes, thereby obtaining additional valuable information in the image, which is an important part of image processing; Face recognition is a novel technique of biological to achieve the identification based on the person's facial features information.Face recognition has developed into a theory of value and the value of the coexistence research area, even more attention has been attracted of researchers. Face recognition involves a variety of disciplines, is a high-end area of great challenging, use MRA- framework for face recognition, it can highlights the trend of mutual penetration and integration between the various disciplines, has great significance.First, this paper introduces the concept of wavelet transform, and makes biorthogonal wavelet used for medical image enhancement, put forward medical image enhancement method, which is more efficient than previous methods, and simulation results show the effectiveness of its methods. This is an improvement of the paper. Then this paper introduce the concepts of wavelet frames, and study the newest construction algorithm of wavelet frames in-depth, next give the MRA framework departure constructed from MRA. On the basis of the traditional image enhancement and recognition methods, we use the MRA- framework, and make corresponding simulation for improved algorithm, experimental data shows the improvement of the process, which has a more significant value than the previous method. It is also the focus and improvements of this article.
