| The social education in kindergarten is the education the main content of which is to increase the social recognition,stimulate the emotions and cultivate the social behaviors of children.Its core is to teach children how to conduct themselves.The social education at kindergarten holds important significances for the development of sociality of children as well as the improvement of the quality of the nationals.Entering the 21 th century,society education has achieved a rapid development in China,but compared with the fields of health,language,science and art,its development is still relatively weak and in the practice of society education,there are still many problems.For example,the teaching style of the teachers often make children lose interest in the study of social fields;the indefinite criterion for judgement often make teachers ignore the random society education for children in daily life,etc,thereby making society education lack effectiveness.Based on this background,this research proposes a social education for kindergarten under the perspective of constructivism.The kindergarten social education under the perspective of constructivism not only acts in accordance with the cognitive traits and learning patterns of children,but also serves as the pressing appeal for the reform of kindergarten social education for preschoolers.Compared with traditional kindergarten social education,kindergarten social education based on constructivism emphasizes the subjectivity of children,the establishment of the equal relationship between teachers and children and children’s cooperative learning.The aim of this study is to introduce constructivist conceptions into kindergarten society education so that children can be more initiative,happier in the education and have a better learning effect.This research adopts interviews,case studies and observation to conduct a kindergarten society education strategy under the perspective of constructivism.The study has the following content in three aspects.Chapter One: The overview of kindergarten society education under the perspective of constructivism.Through constructivism,the definition of related concepts in kindergarten society education,it summarizes the concept of kindergarten society education under the perspective of social education.It proposes that the characteristics of kindergarten society education are subjectivity,experientiality,situationality,cooperativeness and dialogicality;its value lies in the promotion of the social development of children and the improvement of the constructivist educational level of teachers.Chapter Two: Based on the constructivist perspective,it proposes the problems in kindergarten society education and conducts an attribution analysis.Through interviews with kindergarten teachers and principals,the author of the research analyzes the observation in kindergarten and the collected society education cases,discovers the inadequate development of subjectivity in kindergarten society education,the ignorance of experiential studies of children,the lack of the construction of learning community,the lack of dialogues between teachers and children,etc.Subsequently,the author analyzes the causes for the above problems from both the teachers’ and the children’s perspectives.Chapter Three: Targeting at the problem,the chapter proposes a countermeasure in kindergarten society education under the construtivist perspective: the improvement of the constructivist education level of teachers;the development of the subjectivity of children;the establishment of appropriate situations;the valuation of experiential studies of children;the construction of learning community;the establishment of a teacher-children relationship of dialogues. |
