"Social-emotional ability" includes five core skills,namely Self-awareness ability,Self-management ability,Social-awareness ability,Relationship skills and Responsible decision-making abilitiy.So many educaters are focusing on the core skills,a large number of studies have proved the importance of "social-emotional ability".Therefore,this research on the basis of "social-emotional ability" related research,CASEL organization in the United States on the basis of the related theory,combined with its national conditions,take to combine the method of literature review,in-depth interview and questionnaire survey,trying "social-emotional ability" of primary school teachers in Shanghai for research.The steps are as follows:First of all,prepare the investigation of Shanghai primary school teachers "social-emotional ability questionnaire".Using the classical theory of measurement questionnaire,psychological measurement theory and technologies to prepare the questionnaire.Finally confirmed to contain 17 projects of "social-emotional ability questionnaire"(formal version),including five dimensions :Self-awareness ability,Self-management ability,Social-awareness ability,Relationship skills and Responsible decision-making ability.The reliability and validity of test results show that the questionnaire can be used as an effective assessment tools to survey teachers "social-emotional ability".Secondly,primary school teachers in Shanghai as the research object,to investigating and studying the "social-emotional ability" of the status,and study of relevant demography variables.Finally,the survey results show that:(1)Primary school teachers in Shanghai of "social-emotional ability" on the overall level of partial."Responsible decision-making ability" of teachers were best,"Self-awareness" of teachers were relatively the worst.(2)Differences between the schools,education,the subject and teaching age of "social-emotional ability" of primary school teachers of Shanghai :the overall level of "social-emotional ability" of primary school teachers in school b,school d,school f,school e were significantly better than that "social-emotional ability" of primaryschool teachers in school a;from "social-emotional ability" overall level point of view,has a bachelor's degree of primary school teachers was significantly better than have a college degree of primary school teachers;the elementary school mathematics teachers were significantly better than elementary school Chinese teachers,other subjects of elementary school teachers' significant better than elementary school teachers of Chinese and English.Different teaching experience of primary school teachers in only the "decision-making" responsibly dimensions reached significant difference.(3)Conclusion: "social-emotional ability" of primary school teachers of Shanghai overall level is good,but there are still some differences in the specific capacity,comply with the hypothesis of this research;In the eight selected demographic variables,there are four there is no statistical difference,while the rest of the school,education,discipline,statistical differences exist in the teaching age four.
