This study is based on the Shanghai current kindergarten education assessment reform,guided by "Shanghai Kindergarten Quality Assessment Guide”.It combines theory with practice to have an in-depth study of curriculum-embedded assessment of children's development.Firstly,this thesis studies the theory of the curriculum-embedded assessment of children's development,including its connotation,characteristics,principles and theoretical basis.At the same time,this thesis also carries on the practical research of curriculum-embedded assessment of children's development,including the assessment of content,way,method and recording tool,analysis and assessment of children's performance information,summary and analysis on those information and the assessment of development state,feedback and utilization of assessment result,the operation process,operation precaution and mechanism.This thesis is composed of six parts:The first part is an introduction.It mainly focuses on the reasons of topic selection,research purpose and research significance.The second part is about concept definition and literature review.The third part is research design,including the research objective,content and key issue that needs to be solved,research method and idea.The fourth part is theoretical research.On the basis of the results of previous studies,this thesis makes a study on the connotation,characteristics,principles and theoretical basis of curriculum-embedded assessment of children's development.The fifth part is practical research,including the content,way,method and the recording tool of curriculum-embedded assessment of children's development.Meanwhile,it also studies the analysis and assessment of children's performance information,summary and analysis on those information and the assessment of development state,feedback and utilization of assessment result,the operation process and operation precaution and mechanism.The sixth part is about reflection and deficiency.Reflection on the possible limitation of the curriculum-embedded assessment of children's development and the promotion of the research result has regional limitation.
