A Practical Study Of Social Work Involving Employment Services For People With Mild Physical Disabilities

The employment of the disabled is not only related to the realization of the rights of the disabled,but also is an important aspect of promoting social harmony and fairness.Therefore,the analysis of the problems faced by the employment of the disabled,and to explore the Countermeasures of employment services for the disabled,so that suitable for employment,employment aspirations of the disabled can achieve employment,it is particularly important.The research on Chengdu city Y community mild physical disabilities employment promotion project as an example,aims to review and summarize the whole project based on the combination of research methods in social work,model and realization method of social work intervention in mild physical disabilities employment service.Study on theory and social support theory and empowerment theory as the basis,the comprehensive use of literature retrieval,interview and participant observation and other methods to collect data,to fully understand the disabled employment problems and needs,develop the service object of employment psychological preparation,occupation skill and job placement in the three stage of social work service plan.Through the intervention of the social work group and the community method,we can improve the employment ability of the disabled people’s Employment Confidence,work adaptability and social adaptability.Through the coordination and integration of related resources,in order to build a network of employment support for the disabled,and ultimately help the employment of service objects.The results show that:It is obvious that the social work services for the physically disabled people and their employment;Group work,community approach to enhance the awareness and skills of the employment of persons with disabilities is highly feasible and targeted;The value of the social work to help people to help themselves "as guidance,in the implementation of employment assistance service objects at the same time,enhance social adaptability,ability to participate,for their long-term adaptation,social environment,and to achieve self-esteem,self-respect,self-reliance and laid a good foundation.
