With the continuous development and progress of society,the government has issued a number of policies to promote the rapid development of private colleges and universities.However,in the rapid development of private colleges and universities,there still exist some disharmonious factors that can not be ignored.The instability of teachers has resulted in some difficulties in the development of civilian-run colleges and universities.Besides,the frequent loss of teachers in private colleges and universities has hindered the advancement of private colleges and universities.How to implement effective prevention and control measures is a problem that is urgently needed to be solved in the face of private colleges and universities.Teacher is the key to the development of colleges and universities.Choosing the teachers in loss from the private colleges and universities as the research object,according to the working experience in a civilian-run university for nearly 10 years,taking the methodology of interviews and comparison,the author makes an analysis of the teachers' drain in civilian-run universities,tries to find out the causes of the phenomenon of teachers' drain,and seeks for some countermeasures and suggestions to this problem based on the serious and in-depth research.This paper starts from the analysis of the research status at home and abroad,so as to find out the results of previous studies and learn from the important experience.Secondly,this paper explains the phenomenon with the help of the relevant theoretical models.Thirdly,this paper takes Shanghai J College as an example.Through the analysis of some basic factors of the teachers in loss in J college,including their education background,professional title and age structure and the analysis of the number of the teachers in loss,this paper concluded the reasons that have led to the teachers' drain from three aspects,including the society,school and teachers themselves and makes an in-depth analysis of the reasons.Finally,according to these reasons,this paper puts forward some suggestions to prevent the larger loss of teachers in private colleges from the three levels of government,schools and teachers.This paper suggests that we should further improve the internal management system,school recruitment system and better the performance evaluation and salary system on the basis of strengthening the construction of policies and regulations and increasing the input in social security.Furthermore,we should help the teacher to make a long-term career planning.On the other hand,we should fundamentally improve the treatment of teachers.It should never be neglected that we should cultivate the sense of belonging to school and enhance the sense of honor of the teachers from their perspective so as to prevent the loss of teachers.
